Dog Days of Summer

Well August has proved to be the Dog Days of Summer 2014 here at beautiful Lake Hefner. It's either too little wind or way too much. Plus, the rain gauge has been empty for the most part thus letting the lake level to continue dropping to the point "A Meeting" may soon be back on the trailer in dry dock. However, it is State Fair time and there is hope the State Fair Monsoons will come and give us some much needed water in the lake. So it's a waiting game to see what happens.

In the meantime, we have had a couple of sunset cruises, harbor cruises, and enjoyed a little rest. The new tiller by Wilkening & Smith has been a beautiful addition to "A Meeting". I will add some photos in a future post.

Meet Sade and Samson our two sailing buddies. Sade is on the right soaking up some rays and Samson is on the left asking for another umbrella drink!! They are very social and love doing harbor cruises best of all!
