The lake has been staying at very good levels which means "A Meeting" has spent all of the time since the last update, in the lake.. making it easy to sail when we have some wind..
Here is Karen with our dear friends, Karen and David. We had a great time with them on the water, and look forward to many more excursions. Our next time out we will need to cruise over to the East Wharf to have coffee and crème brulee at Lake Hefner Grill....
It's one of favorite spots to grab some great food, and the view can't be beat. Then get back into "A Meeting" and sail off into the sunset, of course we love to finish the evening by sailing under the stars and back into our home port. Best part we are only 5 minutes from our house.
We also had the pleasure of taking Hunter and Kelsey sailing. They are preparing to go to Kosovo later this summer. We really enjoyed getting to know them better this past year, and they had a ball sailing in "A Meeting".
And as you can see in this photo we got to enjoy a fantastic sunset with them. Hunter took a turn at the helm and did a great job handling the boat. I think we may have introduced a new couple to the fun of sailing.
As I close out this update, "A Meeting" is in her slip at the marina, and is ready for the next adventure. And I will try to do a better job of keeping the "Minutes" updated.
Until next time,
Gentle Breezes,
Captain
